The Thor Fiber Multi-Serial Converter supports single-mode operation and features SC/PC connectors. The serial port interface uses a terminal block connector for field wiring. It automatically detects the baud rate of connected serial devices, ranging from 300bps to 115.2Kbps, and adjusts without needing reconfiguration or service interruption.

Utilizing WDM optical multiplexing technology, Side A is equipped with a 1310nm transmitter, while Side B features a 1550nm transmitter. A full setup requires both A and B units, which are sold as a pair.
