Experience seamless video and audio transmission with the Thor Analog Video Audio Data over Fiber system. This versatile device extends multiple video and audio signals, along with RS485 serial data, over single-mode or multimode fiber, making it ideal for monitoring, security, PTZ, surveillance, CCTV, and broadcast applications.

Designed for convenience, these stand-alone analog composite CVBS video and stereo audio transmitter and receiver kits allow you to transport video and audio in one direction while controlling cameras or other video devices via RS485 data from the receiving location. The units are plug-and-play optical converters, simplifying the process of sending video and audio over long distances, far beyond the limitations of copper wires.

The system supports analog baseband composite CVBS video, analog audio, and RS485 serial data. Each video channel is paired with double the amount of audio channels, which can be used as single-ended or differential-balanced, providing flexibility for various setups. For instance, one video channel includes two audio channels, allowing for left and right audio connections.

Equipped with a video BNC 75-ohm interface, the transceivers also feature an RS485 serial data interface, enabling command transmission to multiple cameras or video sources from the receiving location. The kit includes both a transmitter and a receiver, each with a 12VDC power supply. The transmitter is placed near the video/audio source, such as a camera, while the receiver is positioned by the monitor or recording device.

Perfect for timing applications, the units can send CVBS black burst or sync pulses over fiber. This reliable system enhances the performance of existing analog audio/video interfaces, such as those found in VCRs, DVD players, and set-top boxes.
