Thor Contact Closure over Fiber 2,4,8,16 one way or bidirectional

Experience seamless signal transmission with the Thor Contact Closure over Fiber series, designed to support 2 to 16 channels simplex or 2 to 8 channels duplex contact closure over a single multi-mode or single-mode optical fiber. These transmitter and receiver kits enable you to send electrical signals over fiber optic cables, functioning like a relay to control electrical on/off switches remotely.

Whether you need to close or short pins on the transmitter side to control the receiver side, this system allows current to flow, enabling remote device operation over fiber. The base unit supports distances up to 20 km over single-mode fiber or 3000 feet with multimode fiber using ST/PC connectors.

Ideal for applications such as access control systems, alarm event triggering, building automation, environmental control systems, fire and alarm systems, PIR signal transmission, and traffic signal control equipment, these converters are available for both stand-alone and rack-mount installations. While ST/PC is standard, SC or FC optical connectors are available upon request.

With a plug-and-play design, installation and operation are hassle-free, requiring no optical adjustments. LED indicators provide instant system status monitoring.
