The Thor Broadcast Transmodulation system includes a 4 RF input modulator and program stream multiplexer, with CAM support via 4 CI slots. It accommodates QAM (DVB-C), Satellite (DVB-S/S2), and terrestrial (ATSC/DVB-T) RF signal sources. Modules can be swapped for different RF signal types, though firmware updates cannot change modulation functionality. Configuration is accessible via the front panel LCD and keypad, with remote management available through a dedicated NMS network port. Program streams, IP, and ASI inputs can be multiplexed and remapped as needed. The platform supports Conditional Access with 4 Common Interface slots, compatible with CAM modules like CableCard. Ideal for cable TV headends and corporate MATV systems.
